Review
As I wrote in the disclaimer "I received a complementary copy of Project Inspired: Tips and Tricks for Staying True to Who You Are Tips and Tricks for Staying True to Who You Are By Nicole Weider with Kristin Billerbeck from BookLook Bloggers for only my honest review of the book." I found this book to be different than what I was expecting. I was expecting an adult style chapter book and instead I got a book truly geared towards teenagers. The book has numerous pictures scattered through out the book. I found parts of the book interesting; for instance I liked the section on acne help, nail tips, and on how to get more out of perfume. I found many of the tips enlightening and I plan to give some of the mentioned acne products a try. I liked how the author talked about the best products she h ad used, but also understood not everyone could afford those so she also talked about the good less expensive products.
The author did hold my attention in the above mentioned sections and I liked reading about her charitable contributions. I even feel inspired to donate to some of the authors charities because they sound like good causes.
The book was not really cohesive, and yet the information was presented in an appealing manner. The book jumps around a lot, but it kind of adds a fun aspect to the book that a young teen crowd could enjoy. I would say that Nicole Weider successfully conveyed Biblical truth in Project Inspired: Tips and Tricks for Staying True to Who You Are Tips and Tricks for Staying True to Who You Are.
I would recommend this book to young teens looking to go into modeling, become popular, and/or go into acting. It offers good advice and Biblical truth in a way that teens can get and understand. The book does not use complicated language, but instead present everything in a simple manner that is easy to understand.
